1、Information relevant to make a safe passage through the VTS area
2、The general information of fairway and traffic situation (weather , casualties, dredging and navigation warnings)
3、Incidental assistance to navigation
4、Ordering fire fighting service, pilotage or ambulance

2、 Exemptions:R.O.C.flag Vessels as following:

*Government vessels
*Pilot boat 
*Vessels less than 1000 GRT

*Others:Coaster or service vessels by permission 
Keelung Harbor Pilot: Inboundvessels: 10 nautical miles off pilot station
Outboundvessels: 2 hour before departure.
