Port of Keelung Operational Statistics in November, 2014
The operational results of Port of Keelung (comprising Keelung, Taipei, and Suao Ports) are as follows:
1. Monthly operational summary:
(1) Tonnage of cargo handled:
The volume of cargo handled in Port of Keelung this month is 11,993,584 tons. compared with last month, a decrease of 3.16%, compared with the same month last year, an increase of 7.20%.
(2) Number of container handled:
The number of containers handled this month is 247,666.50 TEUs. compared with last month, a decrease of 0.43%, compared with the same month last year, an increase of 9.96%.
(3) Number of inbound vessels:
The number of inbound vessels this month is 887 vessels. compared with last month, a decrease of 2.95%, compared with the same month last year, a decrease of 1.88%.
2. Cumulative operational summary:
(1) Cumulative volume of cargo handled;
The cumulative volume of cargo handled from January to November this year reaches 131,101,616 tons. compared with the same period last year, an increase of 11.63%.
(2) Cumulative number of containers handled:
The cumulative number of containers handled comes to 2,694,864.00 TEUs. compared with the same period last year, an increase of 12.20%.
(3) Cumulative number of inbound vessels:
The cumulative number of inbound vessels is 10,133 vessels. compared with the same period last year, an increase of 5.51%.
