Working to expand the targeting and scope of its Free Trade Zone (FTZ) business recruitment efforts, the Taiwan International Ports Corporation (TIPC) will participate in the 24th Taipei International Logistics and IoT Exhibition this August 21st ~ 28th (Wed – Sat) at Taipei City’s Nangang Exhibition Center. The Port of Keelung will represent the TIPC at the exhibition, promoting all of TIPC’s FTZs (Port of Keelung, Taipei Port, Suao Port, Port of Taichung, Anping Port, and Port of Kaohsiung) and lead a joint-marketing effort for northern Taiwan’s commercial ports. TIPC hopes that the exhibition will increase awareness of the current status, capabilities, and operations of Taiwan’s FTZs and foster new partnerships and opportunities for cooperation.

The Taipei International Logistics and IoT Exhibition is one of the world’s longest-running logistics-related trade shows, enjoying consistently strong ratings and high attendance levels. The exhibition annually attracts over 120 exhibitors and over 90,000 attendees from over 25 countries, including Japan, China, Malaysia, South Korea, Indonesia, Hong Kong, the United States, Singapore, France, and Australia.

A TIPC spokesperson noted that instability in US-China trade has encouraged many Taiwanese and non-Taiwanese multinationals alike to positively reappraise Taiwan as a center for manufacturing. Taiwan’s port-affiliated FTZs can benefit both direct-investment ventures and outsourced operations through their competitive suite of value-added services and streamlined access to Taiwan’s advanced technologies and highly skilled labor market. Taiwan and its FTZs offer multinationals the chance to transform commercial risk into new business opportunity.

TIPC will be set up in booth P1425 at this year’s exhibition. All who are interested in visiting and learning more about Taiwan’s Free Trade Zones are invited to register at website: https://www.chanchao.com.tw/preReg/index.asp?id=DLOG2019 and scan the exhibition admission QR Code. We look forward to seeing you and to helping tailor the best FTZ solution for yourbusiness.
